We are pleased to inform you that the application for 2025 Summer Business Japanese Special Courses, Toyo University is now open for Universitas Gadjah Mada students.
1. 2025 Summer Business Japanese Special Courses
In this course, you will learn about the Japanese language, cultural knowledge, manners, and skills actually required in business situations. This is a valuable opportunity to learn from experts in each field about carefully selected topics. It also includes preparation for the “BJT Business Japanese Proficiency Test” (Japan Kanji Aptitude Testing Foundation), which is a great help for international students in their job hunting activities. If you plan to take the BJT examination, this course will be great use to you.
PROGRAM DETAILS
- Period: 19 – 24 August 2025 (6 days,14 courses)
- Format: Online, organized over Zoom
- Capacity: 1,000 participants per lecture (first-come-first-served basis)
- Fee: Free
ELIGIBILITY
- International students or employees with Japanese
- Proficiency equivalent to JLPT N2 or above.
- Participation from abroad is highly welcomed.
APPLICATION PROCEDURE

- The deadline is 23 August 2025.
- The FINAL decision is from Toyo University.
2. 2025 Summer Business Japanese Advanced Course
An Advanced Business Japanese course intending to acquire a higher level of business Japanese language proficiency. Each course is designed for those with Japanese language proficiency of N1 (JLPT) or J2 (BJT) or higher, and deals specifically with the language and cultural knowledge required in actual business situations.

- Period: 4-6 September 2025 (3 days, 6 courses)
- Format: Online, organized over Zoom
- Capacity: 1,000 participants per lecture (first-come-first-served basis)
- Fee: 1.000 yen/ course
ELIGIBILITY
- International students or employees with Japanese proficiency equivalent to JLPT N1, J2(BJT) or above.
- Participation from abroad is highly welcomed.
APPLICATION PROCEDURE

- The deadline is 05 September 2025.
- The FINAL decision is from Toyo University.
