Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) is a public university that was established in 1970, this university was born from the aim of keeping the Malay language as the national language of knowledge. UKM has made a huge growth over the years and now they have 13 faculties, 13 research institutes and two commercial entities.
Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), through Institut Islam Hadhari offers students and researchers worldwide an in-depth exploration of Islam in Malaysia, covering its rich history, legal framework, economic landscape, societal influences, and religious practices through the Virtual Summer School 4.0: Islam in Plural Society. The program delves into the dynamic intersection of science, technology, and Islamic scholarship, with a special focus on Islamic astronomy (falak) in Malaysia. As a progressive Muslim nation that upholds a balanced and moderate approach to Islamic principles, Malaysia provides a compelling case study for understanding the evolving role of Islam in governance, education, and scientific advancement.

ELIGIBILITY
