[India] ASEAN-India Research Training Fellowship (AIRTF) 2025

Greetings from India!

The ASEAN-India Research Training Fellowship (AIRTF) program is an initiative of the International Cooperation, Department of Science & Technology (DST), funded through Goverment of India funded under ASEAN India Science and Technology Development Fund (AISTDF). The program presents a valuable platform for fostering collaboration, enhancing research capabilities, and strengthening the Science, Technology, and Innovation ecosystem across India and ASEAN Member States. The Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) is privileged to serve as the implementation partner for this prestigious fellowship, aimed at deepening research collaboration and strengthening the enduring ties between India and ASEAN Member States.

We are pleased to inform you that applications for the AIRTF 2025 program are now open to researchers from Universitas Gadjah Mada. Interested researchers are invited to apply.

ABOUT THE PROGRAM
  • Fully funded fellowship exclusively for fifty (50) ASEAN young researchers every year
  • Round-trip air ticket from resident ASEAN member state to the Indian airport nearest to the Indian host institute
  • Maximum of 06 months fellowship
  • Monthly Fellowship @ INR 60,000 for maximum 06 months
  • One-time research contingency grant of INR 40,000/-
  • Host Institute overhead charges INR 2,500 per month for 06 months
  • Research at an Indian Institute in all areas of Science and Technology

  1. Apply directly to the ASEAN-India Research Training Fellowship (AIRTF). Kindly refer to the website.
  2. The deadline is 31 May 2025.
  3. The FINAL decision is from ASEAN-India Research Training Fellowship (AIRTF).
