We are pleased to inform you that the application for Tohoku University Japanese Program (TUJP) Summer 2025 is now open for Universitas Gadjah Mada students.
PROGRAM INFORMATION
SUMMER 1
- Date: June 18 – July 15, 2025 (4 weeks)
- Credits: 6 ECTS equivalent
- Program Fee: JPY 205,000*
SUMMER 2
- Date: July 23-August 7, 2025 (2 weeks)
- Credits: 3 ECTS equivalent
- Program Fee: JPY 105,000*
* The payment instructions will be given in the Admission Notification email.
* The program fee must be paid via our online payment system. (accepted credit cards: VISA, Mastercard, JCB, and AMERICAN EXPRESS)
*The program fee and processing charge (Credit card fee*) are nonrefundable.
ELIGIBILITY & REQUIRED DOCUMENTS
- Undergraduate and graduate students at Universitas Gadjah Mada
- Sufficient English ability (TOEFL iBT 70 or PBT 520 recommended)
- Japanese Language (TTBJ/SPOT90)
APPLICATION PROCEDURE
- Apply directly to Tohoku University. Kindly refer to Application Form
- The deadline is 9 March 2025, 11:59 p.m (JST).
- The FINAL decision is from Tohoku University.
IMPORTANT NOTES
- In the meantime, the students are required to keep the hard file of all documents until further notice by the Office of International Affairs.
- In case the faculty could not provide the letter of enrollment and nomination during this period, the official nomination through email from the faculty is acceptable. The official nomination could be delivered to head-oia@ugm.ac.id (cc to scholarship@ugm.ac.id)
