Doshisha University, located in Kyoto, Japan, is a prestigious private institution with a rich history dating back to its founding in 1875 by Joseph Hardy Neesima. Known for its commitment to academic excellence and Christian principles, Doshisha offers a diverse range of undergraduate and graduate programs across various disciplines, including humanities, social sciences, natural sciences, and engineering.
We are pleased to inform you that the application for Doshisha University Summer Session 2025 is now open for Universitas Gadjah Mada students.
PROGRAM INFORMATION
“Doshisha Summer Session 2025” is a 4-week program takes place in Kyoto, where the Doshisha University Imadegawa Campus is located. In addition to intensive Japanese language study, students will deepen their understanding of Kyoto and Japanese culture through a variety of cultural experience programs and classes. Doshisha volunteer students will participate in classes as study partners to support your Japanese language study.
APPLICATION PROCEDURE
- Apply directly to Doshisha University. Kindly refer to the application form.
- Submit your application to the Doshisha University’s online form no later than 14 March 2025 (JST).
- The FINAL decision is from Doshisha University.
IMPORTANT NOTES
- In the meantime, the students are required to keep the hard file of all documents until further notice by the Office of International Affairs.
- In case the faculty could not provide the letter of enrollment and nomination during this period, the official nomination through email from the faculty is acceptable. The official nomination could be delivered to head-oia@ugm.ac.id (cc to scholarship@ugm.ac.id
