Greetings from Thailand!

Universitas Gadjah Mada invites students to apply for the Global Internship for Changemakers 2025, hosted by Humanitarian Affairs Asia in Bangkok, Thailand. This prestigious program offers a unique opportunity for driven young individuals to lead the organization of the 13th University Scholars Leadership Symposium (USLS) 2025 and make a meaningful global impact.

 

WHY APPLY?

From a competitive international pool, only 8 exceptional candidates will be selected to spearhead this transformative initiative. As part of this elite team, interns will play a critical role in managing impactful projects that promote global leadership and social change.

PROGRAM DETAILS

  • Duration: 3 February 2025 – 9 August 2025
  • Location: Bangkok, Thailand

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct in-depth research to identify and engage with youth organizations, NGOs, and universities committed to leadership and social change.
  • Develop and maintain strong communication channels with universities and youth organizations, building partnerships that empower young leaders.
  • Strategically recruit delegates who are passionate about youth empowerment, ensuring alignment with our mission of creating a more just and equitable world.
  • Lead and manage communications between colleges, NGOs, and the Secretariat, ensuring all interactions support our mission of social impact.
  • Craft and send inspiring invitation emails to potential delegates and partners, motivating them to join a movement dedicated to shaping future leaders.
  • Proactively engage with universities and youth organizations through follow-up calls, providing support and reinforcing a shared commitment to leadership and social change.

 

BENEFITS

  • Meal Allowance: THB 3,000/month
  • Accommodation Allowance: THB 10,000/month

 

RECOGNITION

Outstanding interns will be honored with the Global Youth Award during the Award Ceremony of the 13th University Scholars Leadership Symposium 2025.

 

ELIGIBILITY

  • Aged 21 to 28 years old
  • Hold or pursue a degree in Communication Studies, Mass Communication, Business Studies, International Relations, or related fields
