Greetings from Multimedia University!

Multimedia University, abbreviated as MMU, is the oldest and first ever full-fledged private research undergraduate-focused university in Malaysia and a government-linked university as it is owned by Telekom Malaysia. The university has three campuses, located in Malacca, Selangor, and Johor. Among the very few Malaysian private universities which have multiple campuses. The university hosts ten faculties and the Institute of Postgraduate Studies.

We are pleased to inform you that the application for MMU Student Exchange Program in 2023 is now open for Universitas Gadjah Mada students.

You’re welcome to experience and explore our full range of courses offered by various departments at MMU. All of the courses are taught in English and most of the lessons are conducted in person.

  • Trimester 2
    Study period: 20 March – 16 July 2023
    Nomination deadline: 10 February 2023
    Application deadline: 15 February 2023
  • Trimester 3
    Study period: 7 August – 8 October 2023
    Nomination deadline: 15 June 2023
    Application deadline: 31 June 2023
  • Trimester 1 (New Academic Year 2023/24)
    Study period: 30 October 2023 – 25 February 2024
    Nomination deadline: 15 July 2023
    Application deadline: 30 July 2023

Eligibility

  1. Undergraduate students (S1) 3rd-7th semester
  2. Enrolled in Universitas Gadjah Mada during the program
  3. Must provide evidence of English Proficiency
  4. Preferably CGPA 3.0 and above

Required Documents

  1. Curriculum Vitae
  2. Official Academic Transcript record (issued in English)
  3. Study Plan
  4. A recommendation letter from an academic supervisor
  5. Letter of Enrollment from Faculty
  6. Letter of Nomination from Faculty (addressed to the Head of Office of International Affairs UGM)
  7. Passport-sized photo with white background
  8. Scanned copy of Passport (1st page until last page) or National ID Card (for Virtual Mobility)
  9. Evidence of English Language proficiency
  10. Confirmation Letter of Participation (download)

Application Procedures

  1. Submit the aforementioned documents to UGM International Exposure Application Form: http://ugm.id/IntExposureApplication no later than June 1, 2023 (for Trisemester 3) and July 1, 2023 (for Trisemester 1).
  2. OIA staff will evaluate your application. Once you are selected as Nominated Applicant, OIA will confirm your official nomination to MMU and you may proceed to the Online Application.

  4. The FINAL decision is from Multimedia University
