Aichi Prefecture,the main industrial area in Japan*, aims to boost industry and economy by recruiting outstanding international students from Asian countries. This scholarship is for students wish to study at Japanese graduate schools, and find a job in the Japanese company in Aichi prefecture after graduation.
*There is a head office of Toyota and Toyota group companies in Aichi.
 

  1. Qualification of Applicants

*Applicants have to enroll graduate school of Aichi Prefectural University.

  • Nationality

Asian countries. Living outside of Japan when apply.
India, Indonesia, Cambodia, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Korea, China, Nepal, Pakistan, Bangladesh, East Timor, Philippines, Bhutan, Brunei, Vietnam, Malaysia, Myanmar, Maldives, Mongolia, Laos, Taiwan

  • Ages

Under 35 years old

  • Degree

Bachelor degree or equivalent

  • Field of Study in Japan

Any fields which are regarded helpful for developing industry and economy.

  • Health

Healthy both physically and mentally

  • Japanese proficiency

Some knowledge of Japanese is required to study here. There will be 6 months training session beforegraduate school.

  • Career opportunity

Students are required to intend working for Japanese companies which have a head office or branch office in Aichi. (Work location could be either inside and outside of Japan.)

  • Internship

During the period of study, students have to attend the internship introduced by Aichi prefecture government.

  • Scholarship from another organization

-Students must not receive another scholarship
-Students must be not a spouse who receivesa scholarship from Aichi prefecture

  • Date of entry in Japan

Oct. 2016 *Governor will appoint the date of entry.

  • Other condition

-Students have to be accepted as a research student of Universities in Aichi from Oct. 2016 to March 2017.
-Students have to take out the National Health Insurance

Ten students
 

  1. Coverage of scholarship
  • Living expenses

150,000/month * Scholarship is not granted when students leave school or leave Japan for holidays more than 30 days.

  • Flight fare from the nearest international airport to Nagoya will be granted.
  • Tuition, admission fees will be covered by scholarship

 

  1. Duration of Scholarship

Oct. 2016to March 2019
*Students who are considered not to finish school during this period, scholarship will be terminated. Students who are not admitted to graduate school, scholarship will be terminated by March 2017.
     5. Schedule

  • July 2016: Notification of result
  • 2016: Arriving in Japan as a research student
  • 2017: Enter thegraduate school
  • Mar 2019: Graduate school

Please send all documents above in 2 COPIES to Kantor Urusan International UGM (Bulaksumur, F13) no later than April 28, 2016.
