[Call for Applicants] VIVES International Staff Week in Belgium

Greetings from Belgium!

VIVES University of Applied Sciences in Kortrijk, Belgium, invites Universitas Gadjah Mada teaching staff to participate in the upcoming International Staff Week (ISW) 2026. This teaching event offers an excellent opportunity to expand your international network by collaborating with over 40 foreign colleagues while delivering interactive workshops to European students.

We are pleased to inform you that the application for the VIVES International Staff Week is now open for Universitas Gadjah Mada staff.

PROGRAM OVERVIEW

  • Dates: 23 to 27 November 2026.
  • Venue: VIVES – Commercial Sciences, Business Management and Applied Informatics in Kortrijk, Belgium.
  • Event Format: A teaching mobility event where visiting staff act as guest lecturers. Proposals must feature interactive workshops, including a group assignment or case study.
  • Target Student Audience: Second-year Bachelor (EQF level 6) or Associate Degree (EQF level 5) students.
  • Institutional Quota: A maximum of two (2) delegates will be accepted from UGM to ensure broad partner participation.’

 

ELIGIBILITY

  • Active UGM Lecturers and Teaching Staff.
  • Academic expertise aligned with Business Management, Organisation & Management, Wellbeing and Vitality Management, or Applied Informatics.

 

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS
Interactive workshop proposal (must include a group assignment or case study)

APPLICATION PROCEDURE

  1. Apply directly to VIVES University of Applied Sciences.
  2. Kindly refer to the official registration link to submit your workshop proposal. Please note that proposals may be reviewed and approved on a rolling basis before the deadline.
  3. The deadline is 13 September 2026.
  4. The FINAL decision is from VIVES University of Applied Sciences.

 

IMPORTANT NOTES

  • In the meantime, the students are required to keep the hard file of all documents until further notice by the Office of International Affairs.
  • In case the faculty could not provide the letter of enrollment and nomination during this period, the official nomination through email from the faculty is acceptable. The official nomination could be delivered to head-oia@ugm.ac.id (cc to scholarship@ugm.ac.id)
