Greetings from Rise Social!

Rise Social, a Green Career Accelerator dedicated to empowering youth across Southeast Asia, invites Universitas Gadjah Mada students to the Rise Young Leaders Summit (RYLS) Japan 2026. Held in Tokyo, this summit is a premier platform for young leaders to share best practices, innovate, and learn directly from experts regarding the climate crisis.

We are pleased to inform you that the invitation for the RYLS Japan 2026 is now open for Universitas Gadjah Mada students.

PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS

  • Theme: “Climate Change, Economy, and Sustainable Growth”
  • Location: Tokyo, Japan
  • Dates: 7 – 11 September 2026
  • Activities: Global networking, expert-led workshops, and practical knowledge expansion on international climate initiatives.

 

ELIGIBILITY & FEES

  • Active UGM undergraduate or graduate students.
  • Passionate about climate action, sustainability, and green careers.
  • Funding: This is a self-funded program. Please review the official RYLS Proposal for the total participation fee.
  • Exclusive UGM Perk: As an invited University Partner, officially nominated UGM delegates will receive a $100 USD discount on their participation fee.

IMPORTANT NOTES

  • In the meantime, the students are required to keep the hard file of all documents until further notice by the Office of International Affairs.
  • In case the faculty could not provide the letter of enrollment and nomination during this period, the official nomination through email from the faculty is acceptable. The official nomination could be delivered to head-oia@ugm.ac.id (cc to scholarship@ugm.ac.id)
