The 9th DREaM International Students Summer Program 2017
“Resilient Society: a trans-disciplinary and cross-border approach”
Universitas Gadjah Mada proudly presented the 9th DREaM International Students Summer Program 2017. This year’s theme is “Resilient Society: a trans-disciplinary and cross-border approach”, emphasizing on the importance of resilient society development issue in the present days. Resilient society is a term that permeates many political agendas the world over. It has become shorthand for what we need to ensure an ecologically, economically and socially sustainable future for our planet.
DREAM International Summer Program 2017 is organized by the Office of International Affairs (OIA) from Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), with the continued support and contribution of students. DREaM 2017 will be held on August 13 – 26, 2017. Students are involved in various activities such as two days of public lectures, followed by three days of internship, one day of workshop action plan, four days of community service and cultural excursions around Yogyakarta.
Through DREaM 2017, students from around the world can learn about the resilient management within its actual implementation in the community. The younger generation may be initiators for the solution of resilient issues in the society and inspire others to make a better world for us and for our future generations.
