DREaM International Students Summer Program 2016

The DREaM 2016 is presented by Universitas Gadjah Mada to deal with the management of the Blue Planet. This year marks the 8th year of DREaM, being a prominent summer school managed by UGM. By participating in the DREaM 2016, students from all over the world are given opportunity to understand more about the ocean and its management. Not only ocean, per se, coastal areas will also be explored. Trans-disciplinary nature of the DREaM will enable the students to explore different aspects of the ocean and coastal areas such as economy, security, environment, etc. The learning process will include classroom lecture, field activities, internship, workshop and community service.
 
This year, DREaM offers scholarship for Universitas Gadjah Mada students to participate in the event. The scholarship will include program fee, thus kindly noted that scholarship awardee/s will need to arrange accommodation on their own.
To apply, please provide the following application package:

  1. A copy of English Proficiency Statement/Certificate, with minimum score:
  2. a) TOEFL ITP: 520
  3. b) TOEFL iBT: 68
  4. c) IELTS: 6
  5. Academic Transcript, with minimum GPA score 3,00
  6. An Essay of “How do you think you can contribute to Ocean and Coastal Zone Management for Security, Prosperity and Peace issue in recent days?”
  7. A 3×4 photo of yourself

 
 
Please send your application via email to dream@ugm.ac.id with the title of “DREaM 2016 Scholarship Application”. The application deadline is Monday, July 18 2016. Selected candidates will have to go through an interview process. For further information, please contact us via email.
